His Death, His Resurrection and His Ascension

WOW as I read about Jesus’s death, resurrection, and ascension I am encouraged.  He reminded his disciples to take communion and to remember they are now entering into a new covenant.  This new covenant represents all that is embodied in the Lord’s Supper.  “Do this in remembrance of me” is what Jesus says…When we participate in communion and remember all what Jesus paid for, we begin to get a glimpse of the death, resurrection, and ascension.

My God if we would get that point that it is as often as we remember that we take communion. What a blessed Remembrance it is to know that he took ALL our sins away. We must remember the cross, the grave, the resurrection, and the ascension….the memory of these four events will cause us to be blessed.  What we need to remember and never forget about the cross is that Jesus said “IT IS FINISHED”.

Do not live in the grave but remember that He is Risen, he is out of the grave as we should be. We are to no longer wallow in self-pity and doubt, He is Seated next to his father in heaven and we are seated in Christ Jesus in heavenly places. Ohhh what a mighty place to be in….in Christ Jesus in heavenly places. In this place we have the Fullness of Joy. When we miss the vision and purpose of the death, the resurrection, and the ascension we do not have a chance to come into the fullness of the ministry of the spirit.

There is a reason we do not have the Fullness of Joy. There are dead areas in our lives that need the Lord's resurrection power to touch them. We need to ask Holy Spirit to reveal the fullness of the redemption for you and I today, so you and I can be clothed in power.   To get to that position in our lives we must have a contrite heart and a broken spirit.

Our hearts may be already bruised and broken by the world and life’s circumstances and situations…Ohhh, my dear friend to be broken by God, and for God is different. We must come to God with no games, we come to our maker, our creator, our manufacturer, and let him restore, repair, mend and set us up in our rightful positions.  We must let God have all of our cares, all of our proclivities, all of our issues, all of our stressors, all of our sin, all of our unforgiveness, all of our hard heartedness, all of our double mindedness, all of our fears, doubt and unbelief and we give it ALL away and we totally Surrender. So, you and I can honestly receive His power and say Your will be done in our lives.

Let’s remember All that the cross represents…His Death, His Resurrection, and His Ascension and Our Redemption. Take a moment today and take communion with your family and friends or by yourself receive All that it represents in Jesus name AMEN.

Yours in Christ
